Happy Saturday everyone,
Rio de Janeiro, a city most of us dream to visit one day. I always feel so privileged and blessed that I get to travel around the world and meet so many beautiful people and countries. Rio has something magical. I can’t really explain the feeling, but the combination of the Corcovado, Sugar mountain, Copacabana, Favela’s and citizens are impressive. On Instagram you will find some amazing pictures that I already shared.
For this trip, I chose to pack clothes with a little edge or embellishment. I had a little more thinking to do before I started packing my suitcase. I didn’t want to stand out too much, given that Rio de Janeiro could be very dangerous sometimes. Wearing a lot of jewelry is not a good idea unless you also decide to dress like a gladiator at the same time. But than again, If you blend in the street-style fashion ways, you don’t need to worry at all. Brazilian women are very confident and outgoing when it comes to clothes and their bodies. It was actually the first time that it struck me like this. Curves are more than hot in Brasil. I heard about the stories but to see the real thing was like waiting to exhale. Can I stay in Rio? Even I can learn a few minor tweaks here. (Starting with those thong bikinies) Hallelujah!!!
I decided to go plane and simple, wearing cool leggings with short tops. These heels are amazing, don’t you think? And why a big bag, when carrying a small bag is so much easier. This baby is from Joe Hart Bags. What I love the most about this bag is the functionality. It’s a bag but you can also use it as a wallet or clutch. The braided handle and the silver Hearts on the bag give the bag a luxurious appearance. With the quote “Dare to love me” on the ribbon, this bag should be every girls naughty dream. To describe this outfit:
“Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance”
